4 Steps to allocate places

Please have all supporting documents ready before you begin the registration process. As proof of employment, we require a certificate from your employer stating your weekly working hours and the scope of your employment. For all other supporting documents, please upload the relevant certificate.

Step 1:

Enter the desired start date for childcare. You will then be taken to the results overview.

Step 2:

Click on the house icon on the map or the name of the facility in the list to go to the respective profile.

Step 3:

Once you have gathered all the necessary information, you can fill out the registration form for your chosen facility by clicking on “Submit care request”.

Step 4:

If you wish, you can save your data at the end of this form and use it as a template for your next support request.
You can submit a maximum of three childcare requests per child and start date. You must also prioritize your request by childcare facility.

Worth knowing

  • You can submit a maximum of three childcare requests per child per kindergarten year. In addition, you must prioritize your requests by childcare facility. 
  • Registration is possible from birth onwards or 18 months before the desired start of care at the earliest.
  • A new kindergarten year always begins on September 1st.
    The registration deadline is February 28th
  • Places are allocated starting in March of the same year at the earliest.
  • Confirmations or rejections for a childcare placement are issued centrally by the city of Neu-Ulm.
  • Your child must show proof of measles vaccination before starting childcare.
